How to Replace Battery on Samsung Galaxy A41

Hello guys and welcome to the step-by-step tutorial on how to change the battery on your Samsung Galaxy A41. For this repair you will only need a replacement battery and some tools. So lets dive right into it!

1) Switch it offsome tools

The first step is to turn off your phone. We do this in order to prevent any malfunctions like shortcuts that can occur if phone is turned on. To do so press and hold side volume key down for a few seconds. Then just tap "switch off".

2) Heat the back cover

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat the back for around a minute to soften the glue holding the back cover in place.

3) Lift the back cover

Set the suction cup at the lower part of the back cover and pull onto it to create a small gap. Then insert a pick into that gap and remove the plastic cover by sliding the pick all around the phone.

4) Remove the mid-frame

Take the Philips screw driver to unscrew and remove sixteen 3.5mm screws holding the mid-frame to the phone. Then simply remove the mid-frame using your bare hands.

5) Disconnect the battery

Use a tip of a spudger or finger to pry up and disconnect battery from the motherboard.

6) Remove big flex cable

Do the same thing as in the last step to disconnect the flex cable on the three sides. Then remove the whole cable.

7) Remove the battery

Battery is glued to the phone's body with the strong adhesive. Use the heat gun to soften out the glue, but heat the display not the battery directly to avoid any potential damages. When you have loosen up the adhesive, turn over your phone and use a spatula to pry up and remove the battery.

8) Reassemble everything with the new battery

Your Galaxy A41 is completely disassembled. Now take your new battery and reassemble your phone by following this guide in reverse order, and then test everything up to make sure you did everything properly.
